History
86 Years ago the publisher of a weekly newspaper devoted to the keeping of Guinea Pigs, Mice, Rabbits and other Livestock decided that what "The Fancy" needed was a special two-day competition. It was called "The Bradford Championship Show" and Mr J.E Watmough, whose penny paper at Idle, Bradford was entitled "Fur & Feather" appealed to his readers for support.
From that very first Show in 1921 staged at the Manningham Barracks, Bradford the event was an overnight success. Within four years Bradford had become the worlds largest and most famous Small Animal Event and it was every Fancier's dream to take part.
